What the hell is it?
Adrenochrome is a naturally occurring chemical substance. The bone of contention is the fact pertaining to how it is procured, its controversial location, and its extraction.
Adrenaline is believed to be produced when a person is excited or is undergoing an “adrenaline rush.”
This can be achieved normally by way of activities that excite us. Roller coasters, sky diving, racing, and the like would produce minute quantities of this chemical in the body.
It is the same chemical that gives us the courage to “Fight” in a “Fight or Flight” situation.
The Oxidation of Adrenaline produces Adrenochrome.
Here, however, is where the problem lies. Adrenaline produced by the body during exciting entertainment activities is just not sufficient enough and/ or not pure enough.
The only way sufficient quantities of adrenaline could be produced in the body in order to oxidize it into the purest form of adrenochrome is by using a subject who is “uncontaminated” and put under unbelievable stress, often passing the Event Horizon of Death.
This is achieved through adrenochrome harvesting.
WHY???
Adrenochrome is often referred to as the ‘Fountain of Youth’. It is believed that it allows a person to retain his/her youth, in other words, reverse the aging process and enhance longevity. It is said that the users also experience a unique euphoria-like feeling.
Adrenochrome is said to transfer the life energy of the victim into the consumer when they ingest the drug.

The History:
Ever since man walked this earth and formed a culture-based society of living, there has been evidence of animal, human, and child sacrifice. Not in any way justifying the despicable acts of barbarically sacrificing humans and animals; those, however, were ancient days filled with superstition, fear, brainwashing, and misinformed illiteracy.
This is why the acts performed in the 21st century by people belonging to a relatively evolved society make it all the more difficult to digest. Don’t you think?

It has, through time, been a principle methodology of the elite in the society to keep the lower classes in line by demonstrating power and authority through the dark practices.
Being stabbed, burned, drowned, strangled, bludgeoned, buried alive, and tortured were only a few ways that humans were ritualistically sacrificed throughout history. Whether it was to appease the Gods or to honor their leaders or for something as common as rain, human sacrifice was an unbelievably normal affair for these ancient cultures.
The victims in these rituals usually were slaves or captives from adjacent communes. The commanders of the acts were usually the social elite. These sacrifices only emboldened the control and hierarchy the elite maintained over the commoners.

The Carthaginian Society
This was one of the wealthiest and most powerful civilizations in the ancient world. A Semitic culture centered on the Phoenician city-state of Carthage, near Tunisia of today.
The absolute worst practice of this society was the ritual infant sacrificial killings. Experts conclude that the reason for this could be two-fold: to gain favour with the God’s and secondly, to control the increasing population. Thus, the wealthy kept their wealth intact.
Between 800 B.C and 146 B.C, when Carthage was conquered by the Romans, it is roughly estimated that around 20,000 babies were sacrificed.
As depicted, some of the newborns were kept in the arms of a bronze statue of MOLOC while a fire kept the bronze red-hot. The screams of the burning infants could only be imagined and even that is unimaginable.
From this, we do get an idea as to how far back in the timeline of humanity, the Jewish Eugenics mindset originates.
The Shang Dynasty
Human sacrifice was common in ancient China but its notorious popularity grew to an inhumane scale during the Shang dynasty (c.1550 BC-c.1050 BC).
Pit sacrifices were for young men who would be dismembered and buried. Foundation sacrifices were for children and babies who would meet violent and brutal deaths, and finally, internment sacrifices were for young girls who were buried in standard burial positions.
The Aztecs
The culture most famous for its human sacrifice due to its portrayal in many Hollywood movies is the Aztecs. The Aztecs brought human sacrifice to a before unheard of level, both due to the number of victims and the viciousness of the act.
The belief was that human blood was a “sacred life force” that the sun God needed in order to be kept alive. The priest would open their stomachs; cutting them from their throats down to their bellies. The heart would be offered to the Gods, while the bodies would be discarded. It is also known that the blood and some body parts could have been consumed by the highest members of society and the priests.
It is reported that during the re-consecration of the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlan in 1487, the Aztecs sacrificed 80,400 prisoners over four days. Although unverifiable, it does shed some light on the scale of human sacrifice conducted.
Vampires
Yes, I know!
It’s the stuff of legend, a folk story, and a Hollywood blockbuster. However, there is some fact in the origins of this gruesome culture which has a cult following even today.
Few names can send a shiver down your spine than Dracula. The fictional vampire, created by author Bram Stoker. However, the inspiration for the character originated from the life of a real person with an even more grotesque taste for blood:
Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia or — better known as — Vlad the Impaler.
Vlad III was born in c.1431 in a mountainous region known in modern-day as Romania. The surname Dracul “dragon” was assigned to his name after his induction into the Order of the Dragon, a Christian military order supported by the Holy Roman emperor.
He got his macabre title due to his method of dealing with his enemies or anyone he disliked for that matter. His favorite method being Impaling.
Impaling is a sadistic form of torture and eventually death: A wood or metal pole is inserted through the body, front to back or vertically, through the rectum or vagina.
The pole was usually rounded, not sharp, so as to avoid damaging internal organs and thereby extend the suffering of the victim for as long as possible. The pole was then raised for all to see the victim’s suffering. It could take hours or days for the impaled person to die.
He enjoyed watching his victims so much that he is said to have, on more than one occasion, dined in the midst of a forest of victims writhing on impaled poles while dipping his bread in the blood of his victims and even drinking it. Vlad was described as a “demented psychopath, a sadist, a gruesome murderer, a masochist”, worse than Caligula and Nero.
His other source of entertainment involved a copper cauldron with a lid, which had holes in it, made of wood. His victims were put in the cauldron and their heads secured in the holes; then it was filled with water and a fire set under it. He spent hours enjoying their screams till they boiled to death. He wasn’t done yet as he invented unheard-of tortures. Women were impaled together with their suckling babies on the same stake. The babies struggled at their mother’s breasts until they died. The women’s breasts were then cut off and the babies were put inside headfirst and then he had them impaled together.
His habit of drinking the adrenaline-rich blood of his terrified victims was the main focal point of the fictional Dracula.
The depiction of Vampires drinking the blood of victims who they toy with and terrify first, seems to make a bit of sense now, doesn’t it?
It’s the adrenalin they are looking for. Maybe the writers and movie makers know it.
The underground Vampire culture certainly does follow blood drinking rituals.
The 21st Century arrives:
The barbaric age of man has passed, or has it just gone underground.

The most famous incident would have to be the one involving the arrest of the former Vice. President of the United States: Al Gore, who was detained at the airport for carrying a suitcase filled with packets of his own adrenochrome-laden blood.

There are numerous references to the existence and use of Adrenochrome, if only one is awake enough to see.
In his 1954 book The Doors of Perception, Aldous Huxley mentioned the discovery and the alleged effects of adrenochrome which he likened to the symptoms of mescaline intoxication, although he had never consumed it.
Anthony Burgess mentions adrenochrome at the beginning of his 1962 novel A Clockwork Orange. The protagonist and his friends are drinking drug-laced milk: “They had no license for selling liquor, but there was no law yet against prodding some of the new veshches which they used to put into the old moloko, so you could peet it with vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom or one or two other veshches”
Hunter S. Thompson mentioned adrenochrome in his 1971 book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
